What a treat today when I opened my mailbox and discovered that my newsletter had arrived! Fred and Morgan, what can I say, you both have done another fantastic job!! Fred with all you have going on I don't know how you are able to find the time to create something this good. What fun it was to "relive" the convention through all the pictures and stories. I think this was one of our very best conventions and the "mixing" of our family and the AW family made it possible. Way to go guys!! Thanks so much for all your hard work!!! Terry

Got my newsletter today, and enjoyed seeing the vacuum convention pictures. I like the rug tools on page 36.

Great job guys! I really enjoyed my newsletter. The photos made me wish that I were there at this years convention. We have high standards to meet for this coming convention in August. I also appreciate the President's Message by Morgan. It was tasteful and TRUE! Morgan you really help add even more CLASS to our organization. There is so much that you could have said, but with your high moral character you said what needed to be said in a very polite way. Kudos to you for that. All in all this was a well written and informative newsletter. I can only imagine the amount of work that went into it. Keep up the good work guys!!

I was reading in some of the archives that you all were considering adding the newsletters to the website. Has this been done? I was just wondering, as I am interested in reading the newsletter.

It was a very good newsletter. With the convention still fresh in our recent memory, it was fun to have a refresher of the good times we all had.

Archived Newsletter

Monte,

We placed a few of the older newletters on the website when we started the new forum. If you would like copies of the newest newsletters you must join the club. There is a membership fee of $35.00 to join, your $35.00 helps to defray the cost of printing the newsletter. With the price of postage and the cost of printing, the newsletter runs on average from 700.00 to 1100.00 for 185 copies. The cost depends on the number of pages printed as well as how much we use color in the printing. The last newsletter cost was approx. $1,030.00, 16 pages and mostly color.

We run extra copies so that we can send copies of the latest newsletter out to new members.

We would love to have you join the club!

Hope this is helpful information.

Morgan

Tom,

Thanks for your kind words. The newsletter is a lot of work for Fred and myself. As I pointed out at the convention, this is your newletter, we can only make it as interesting and informative as what we receive from you as members.

Mini meets, new vacuums to your collection, old or new articles, adds, ect. can be sent at anytime to Fred or myself. Depending on how much information we receive will depend on what gets put into any given newsletter.

Tom, I also must apologize as I think I may have left Bobby Deregis's name off the convention planning committee list that was in the newsletter. Sorry Bobby!!!

Your committee is well on their way to planning another wonderful event for 2008. We will be posting more on the 2008 convention after the holidays.

EXCELLENT!

I got my newsletter yesterday and everyone who contributed to it has my applause. Morgan, without surprise, your message was written with artful restraint and delicacy, very subtle and tactful and consistant with your leadership style. Thanks to our Board for their efforts to maintain the Club members' expectations. Fred, your physical and mental energy that you put into the Club is greatly appreciated. You are a JEWEL!

Mine just came in the mail this morning. I was half expecting it to take at least a few more days to cross into Canada but it didn't. Great job everyone.

Ditto. Makes me wish, once again, that I could attend the conventions. And the "dicey issues" were handled with tact and aplomb.

Kudos!!
