Ok people. Does anybody Have there vacuum cleaner collection insured?
Iv been thinking of getting my kirby's insured.
Strange thing Is for how much?
I mean its not like I can just go out and buy more of the older kirby's-pre kirby's
I also mean that Iv spent allot on shipping and them over the years and Heaven forbid something did happen I could at least get some of the money back to start again.

Just fishing for other people ideas.

As I said to you earlier mate no idea how much to insure your collection for but found a site that might insure your collection.
They don't sepecify insure Vacs, but have the option for "Other specific items".

You have a beautiful collection indeed, I think probably the nicest collection I've ever seen. Some of the machines in your collection (i.e. Kirby Utility) are the only examples I've ever known to exist. It's hard to put a fixed value on a machine, however. I've seen prewar Kirbys sell on eBay for over $2000.00 U.S. dollars! I guess all it takes are two people who desperately want the machine for their collection, and the sky's the limit.
