Just wanted to wish all the members a happy Thanksgiving, and among all the things I have to be thankful for, one of them is finding a club with all it's great members to share our interests. Have a great and safe holiday and remember, if you eat too much, take a nap, when you wake up, you'll forget how full you were, at least I do!

Happy Thanksgiving!

At this time, it is appropriate to stop and ponder all that we are thankful for. Thanks to all of you for sharing your friendship and knowledge and creating a great community to share a common interest. As I get older, I try to remember to be thankful for all the blessings in my life, and this place is one of them.

Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone!!

I agree with Rick and Fred, and to that I add that I'm also thankful for Fred's work in creating and maintaining Vacuumland, and for CRL, who's website led me and many others to VCCC, and for Tom Anderson, who graciously restored my Hoover 28, to both look and run great!! And also, let's not forget the usual--family, friends (which includes everyone here!!), health, employment, etc...
And again, Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone!!!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope this year you and yours enjoy the best of times.

Jeff...you are quite welcome...there is nothing better than getting a vintage Hoover back on the carpet!

Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving Day is one the greatest days for us as a country and a people. Today we remember that in every sphere of life...vacuums included....none of us is in this alone.

Blessings....!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Rick,

Thanks for starting this wonderful thread. I am very thankful on this day! I have met some of the most wonderful people since I was introduced to this club.

Charles Lester, Fred Nelson as past and current web masters to our web sites have made it possible to extend our circle of friends across the globe. The members of this club are a caring group of people that support each other at all times.

I want to especially thank all those who are on the board of the VCCC. Since becoming president I have seen how well they all work together and how much work they actually do. Dave Olsen, Marty Rocha as treas and sec. have a full time job keeping up with all the correspondence between board members. Charlie Watrous has been a wonderful support for me as he has carried the presidents roll in the past.

Everyone enjoy your day, as I think of things to be Thankful for the VCCC is first on my list.

Ditto!

Happy Thanksgiving! Keep your vacuums AND your family close! Don't let those brain chemicals in turkey get to you today! And maybe everyone could vacuum to work off all the "poundage" that we will eat/ate today!

Very Thankfully,
Kyle

A curious Canadian

It is my feeling that Thanksgiving is a much more celebrated holiday than is Xmas in the U.S.A. - would most people agree? I know that Americans make much more ado about it than we do here in Canada. I am just curious as to why?

I hope that everyone had a good Thanksgiving...I know I did! Hopefully this will enable me to GAIN a few pounds!

Curious Canadian:

I think it's because Thanksgiving is such an accessible, pluralistic holiday for us. While Christmas is a cultural and retailing phenomenon of the highest order here, it's still a Christian holiday.

Not so with Thanksgiving. You can be Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Hindu or any other faith and celebrate Thanksgiving. Whatever our differences, we all can think of reasons to be thankful.
