Remember in my post on My new Riccars when I took my old one to my Riccar dealer for service on two things-the Brushroll motor cut out on my deep carpets and the bag cover latch wasn't working.Yesterday morning after work I got a call from Bill that a NEW Riccar Radiance "Red" was waiting for me!I went to pick it up and he commented that Riccar didn't want to try to repair the first machine-was a Radiance#1 The one they supplied is a version 8.It works beautifully! And looks great too.the old one is with Bill he wants top use it in his shop as a "Demo" model after fixing the cover latch.Riccar didn't want the machine back.He wasn't allowed to resell it as a new machine.KADOOS TO RICCAR!Good outfit. They do stand behind their products. Now I am having fun with my other new Riccar Radiance! For awhile poor Kirby and Royal will be a little lonely.Want to give my fleet of Riccars a workout! |

Is Riccar a German company? What a customer service policy! A lot of American companies could learn a lesson from this one. You've got to be in vacuum heaven with these beauties! |

I was too lazy to look it up
and I was trying to generate some activity on the site too. If anyone knows where Riccar is, you would Kyle. I'll say then, a lot of other American companies could learn something from this company. Thanks for the answer! |

I am not sure but Riccar started out as a company that made and distributed sewing machines and sewing products-Now they are with the Tacony Group-the largest group of companies that make and distribute vacuuming and sewing products.Yes there are lables on my Riccars that proudly mention they are built is USA-but they do use "globally supplied Components"All in all the Riccar vacuums I now have are excellent machines. They have supurb performance-up there with Kirby and Royal. And Riccar does what it takes to make vacuums that look cool and are cool and effective to use.Riccar is serious about making nice vacuums and ones that perform! These vacuums are as beautiful as some cars!Makes me want to have cars that match them!that Luscious Riccar "Red"and the "Brilliance Blue"and last of course-the Riccar Premium "Pearl" color!I am thinking of getting other Riccar machines in the future with their excellent customer care polocies.Riccar does want their customers to be pleased with Riccar products. They are making the best efforts.Would highly recommend their products.Oh yes Riccar cansiter vacuums are going to be built in the US too.they were built in Korea by Daewoo. |

Would like to see many companies return manufacturing to the US-we need the jobs.Wish Royal would start building their metal uprights here-and another things-bring back the metal "torpedo" canisters and the "Prince" metal hand vac.Of course build them here.figure those products are most useful to Americans and American homes.hope riccar keeps their manufacturing in the US.The bulding of their canisters is a good move.Oh yes-last but not least the US built QUALITY! |

It's a shame that a nation builds Vacuums better than it's Cars :P |

Maybe they were good once, but most Motor Industry people i've spoken to (lecturers etc :P lol) say they're not worth the metal they're made of etc, heh. |
|
not much metal now these days it is Fiberglass and cheap parts that are overpriced. |
