Tonight I was looking at Hoover's commercial vacuums. Has anyone seen the prices on these? They are crazy! The base model commercial elite upright without tools is $200 and the prices go up from there toping off with the $1700 dual conquest. Are any of these machines worth the money? Are they actualy built better than the domestic cleaners?

hmm, the prices on that site seem inflated. the prices on the commercial Convertibles are high. in addition, I know the local Hoover Co store sells the Conquest for a bit less.

Still mortified that the Commercial Portapower is retailing for $200.00 as discussed in the CP thread. 200 for that miserable 3 foot hose with it. |

Well...
I'll be holding out for one the vintage "machine age" Hoover uprights. Love the styling!

Yeah, I thought the prices looked a little high, especialy for the elites and windtunnels. The conquest was the only model where the price seemed even close to reasonable. |
