Picked up a model MC-663 today at Value Village. It has three neat push buttons on the front for low, medium, and high.

Guy, what color is it? I have one from the 80's that is tan, but I've seen blue ones, too. I don't know the model #'s, but I think the blue ones came later.

I've never seen a Panasonic with 3 buttons across the top which gets me to wondering if it isn't an early model fashioned after the Kenmore Duo-Power upright which had 3 buttons across the top. They were made by Matsushita (panasonic) and came in blue and green |

I have an aunt in Florida who had one of the real small Panasonic uprights when I was a kid. I remember it being extremely quiet, and I'd always use it when I went to her house. One of my suppliers introduced this upright a couple of years ago, supposedly saying it was taken from the molds of that machine. It's definitely not the same though; I sold one, and four months later it came back with a melted brushroll. I yanked it off the showroom as fast as I could. ![]() |

I have the small Jet Flo Dual Purpose, it has the brushroll on/off switch and a switch for the full bag alert. The power switch is on the handle. I have another small one without the brushroll switch or the bag alert switch and the power switch is on top of the body casing.
