I had one growing up as a kid. My parents bought one in 1988 and we had it for about two years. IMHO, these machines were loud and not very durable. I remember vividly the handle snapping in half on ours because these machines were all plastic.

Singer Simon
After searching for one high and low for quite awhile now, I located a Simon at my local flea market for $5. It is missing the bumper guard and I find it to be quite noisy as well. Is there a way to grease the bearings on these cleaners? Also, does anyone know if bags are still available? I was surprised to find this machine even had attachments at one time. |
