Have you been wondering what exactly is under the hood of the New Constellation?

My thoughts...
Overall, I'm qutie impressed with the overall construction of the machine. It's very solidly built, and jeez... look at the wiring! All shrink-tubed and zip tied... a world of difference from the old ones.

I bet...
The new motor would fit in an old model, however I would wonder if the shroud would line up with the exhaust port on the older cleaners?

You Might have to........
Cut a hole in the shroud. The entire base on the old ones was pressurized with the exhaust. The new ones have it ducted with the shroud. A 2 1/2 inch "mouse hole" in the shrould might get the exhaust out of an old one. It would be interesting to try it.

Motor size.
The new motor also seems to be a bit shorter than the old motor, so one would need to build something up underneath it, in order to prevent the motor from moving around. |
