We just came back from WAL*MART and i was looking at the HOOVER FUSION,DIRTDEVIL REACTION,BISSELL HEALTHYHOME vacuum. For one thing,a real healthy home should have a bagged vacuum, not a bagless. Two, I think their were eight cyclones, like it would have the same suction as a dyson. The hoover fusion was only $98 and it looked to be well built except for thier is no HEPA filter. The dd reaction was $99 i think? but I did not like the looks and feel of the materials. I would reccomend the healthyhome but!!! I would never buy it nor reccomend it because bagless is not better and you are creating a filthy, germy enviroment by emptying the contaner. |

First of all, none of the above vacuums mentioned work ANYTHING like a Dyson.

So does the Dyson outperform the Iridium as well? You state that the Iridium is the BEST vacuum available right now--how does it fare vs. the DC07? |

Tom, I agree--it doesn't take rocket science to figure out that none of the Dyson clones work. We had a GE (Wal-Mart) bagless upright (bought in 2002) for 2 years, and its performance gradually dwindled with the passing of time. I would wash that pleated filter out CONSTANTLY, with no signs of improvement. Needless to say it ended up getting junked.
