I picked up my Hoover Constallation today & am the first in Albuquerque to have one! It is marvelous. $239.00 + change.
Everything that's been said about this cleaner is true and then some. Can't wait to get home after work to use it.

Steel one. Asked the Hoover Authorized Dealer here in Abq if the company intends to make a comparable Convertible model to commemorate the good ole' days. He said "probably not." Newer fan design, etc precludes bringing back the older models even with space aged plastic fans, etc. Sad...

Has anyone else noticed that the new Constellation has a weep hole underneath the handle towards the back of the top half? Wouldn't this reduce the performance of the machine? I covered mine with a piece of scotch tape, and the cleaner seems to have a little more suction (the turbo tool runs faster) and float just the same. Any thoughts on this?
