Well I bit the bullet and ordered the new brushstainless Steel constellion from Amazon.com It will arrive on Oct.4 so as soon as I get it I will sure post pictures of it. I think I could have gotten cheaper else where but not sure. but at least I'm finally getting one and I did want the stainless steel one. I heard We could get this one from 169.00 from some of our vac dealer collectors, but found out after the fact so my total cost is 268.55. which I am sure I won't regret.

Fred
Fred, I'm not sure but being I did it I guess I got to live with it, It's probably alot of hassle being it being shipped if I could have gotten it locally that would have been better and easier to return, But Thanks for asking I guess I jump the gun a little much and should have emailed You before I did it but next time I will know

It Arrived
Well It arrived as scheduled and boy What a Vacuum cleaner. I'm totally impressed with it. Boy does it float, I'm amazed at how well it floats on the carpet. We have low pile carpets and in all honesty it floats just as good on the carpet as it does on the bare floor. I have no regrets what so ever. ![]() |

What? No Blower Port?
How do they expect you to dry your hair or blow dust out of radiators? What if you want to spray paint? Grrr! I'm sticking to my old Compact! |

Wow!
That looks really nice! I love the "burst" of red that the Hoover logo provides... That is what's missing from the Maytag Satellite... it's so monotone.

Fred and Seamus
Thanks so much and Yes I'm still in heaven about it. It is just so beautiful but like Fred said it would be nice with a hoover badge under the hose. As far as not having a blower port that's matters not to me at all because I would vacuum with it only anyway. I still can't get over at how well itr just glides around the carpets my older constellion glide but not as easily as this one.

I recently saw a white painted version of this at Fry's. I was impressed with the sturdy construction - it's mostly metal, and very solid. As I recall, the price for the white one was about $200.

Rich
I'm totally impressed with it. It has a turbo brush with it and I have to say in all honestly it puts alot of electric power nozzles to shame. In fact Today I went to my sisters to clean her house and she has an oriental rug in her living room as she has tiled floors thru out except the bedrooms. In fact her rug is very heavy to say the least and there is a pad underneath it. When I was vacuuming the rug the turbo nozzle was actually lifting it up and I could hear the dirt going thru the wands into the vacuum. I have to say this has to be the best Hoover made and is the best constellion made for sure. Now i'm curiuos if that New Hoover Z700 has as much power as the constellion and I do know there were discontinued.but thinking about getting one because i'm sure it will be a collector item. and i see now they are selling really cheap now.

Note on vacuum cleaners as blowers using the paint sprayer-use ONLY with water based paints-otherwise the brush sparks in the motor could cause fire or explosion.Low pressure-high volume paint sprayers have sheilded motors to prevent fires when used with solvent based paint. |
